The farm takes its name from the homonymous hill on which it is located and is one of the oldest farms around Suvereto. Already in 1821 it was enclosed in the cadastral maps of the Grand Duchy of Tuscany. From 1911 on, it has been the property of the Petry family, managed today by the two sisters, Paola and Rosa, together with their husbands, Vittorio and Paolo.The farmland is of approximately 100 ha, of which 10 ha vineyards and approximately 4.000 centuries-old olive trees. The owner can look back on many years of experience of the whole family that always has dedicated life to agriculture, trying to combine antique traditions with modern techniques in order to obtain good quality products. Extremely good microclimatic conditions and great commitment to the farm management are creating excellent wines and an extra virgin olive oil of renowned quality. Products can be purchased directly on the farm where it is also possible to make guided wine and olive oil tastings. On the reservation there can be organized a guided tastings for groups up to 40-50 people in our special tasting room. Naturally it is possible to organize guided visits to the farm’s wine cellar, walks on the farm grounds between the centuries-old olive groves and vineyards.
