Azienda Agricola Campo al Noce di Pierluigi Sgariglia

The Campo al Noce farm which is entirely family run,  is situated in the well know Tuscan hills, in one of the most famous and prestigious territories, the DOC Bolgheri area, it is about 4 km from the sea. The area sourrounding Bolgheri and Castagneto Carducci is unique, with a very favorable microclimate, due to its close proximity to the sea and  is protected by the woody hills behind it. It is the base of the production of quality wines, known throughout the world. Since 2011 the company has achieved energy independence by installing photovoltaic panels and since 2014 is committed in organic conversion. The soils are at sea level, between Castagneto Carducci and Boghieri,they are the  property of the Sgariglia family. Currently there are about 6 hectares of vineyards, located to the east-west: They are manually harvested, once the grape are matured, the company has a valuable product.  The processing of the grapes takes places in a traditional way, with the use of modern vinification techinques. The production consists of 5 wines: RIVERBERO Bolgheri Doc Superiore, MITERRE Bolgheri Doc, SYRAH Tuscan IGT, ASSIOLO Tuscan IGT and VERMENTINO Bolgheri Doc. All of our production is of the highest possible. All the energy and passion of Pierluigi Sgariglia are crucial for our production, in order to bring to your tables not only an excellent wine, but also a reminder of  the Bolgheri and Tuscany land.
